  • Round-up time in Texas (1937). "Gene and his sidekick Frog set off to far away South Africa where Tex, Gene's brother, has discovered diamonds. However, upon arriving, they find Tex has gone missing. They are captured by a primitive tribe. Aided by Frog, Gene escapes and manages to find Tex, but Tex is a prisoner and pretty soon Gene is too."--container insert
  • Springtime in the Rockies (1937). "A lady rancher and her girlfriends arrive from the East to take possession of her new spread. Gene sends them to a dilapidates shack in hopes of making them go back where they came from. The ploy backfires when the villainous Briggs learns of Gene's ruse and persuades the rancher to sell her property for a fraction of its value. To eliminate any loose end[s], he then frames Gene for murder."--container insert
  • The Carson City Kid (1940). "Roy Rogers, posing as The Carson City Kid, is determined to exact vengeance on h is brother's killer, Morgan Reynolds. Determined to track Reynolds down, the Kid is stopping stagecoaches and sifting through the mail for letter addressed to the killer. This earns him a reputation as a stagecoach hold-up artist even though he steals nothing. This misconception is reinforced by the fact that his sidekick, Laramie, is a notorious half-breed outlaw."--container insert
  • Colorado (1940). "It's the height of the Civil War, and Union troops are bogged down in Colorado dealing with local troubles. The Union dispatches Lieutenant Burke to look into things, and he discovers that a trouble maker named Macklin and his gang are at the root of the problems. He is horrified to discover that his brother, Captain Mason, has joined the gang he has been sent to deal with."--container insert
  • Young Bill Hickcok (1940). "During the Civil War, Bill Hickok (Roy Rogers) is responsible for a gold shipment leaving California and he entrusts the delivery to his friend Gabby Whittaker (Gabby Hayes) and his niece Calamity Jane (Sally Payne). When the gold shipment is stolen by members of a European agent's gang, the blame is placed on Hickok and he is thrown into jail. Hickok is able to escape the jail, with the help of Calamity Jane, and then must track down the gold and also stop the foreign agen'ts plans of an assassination plot against President Lincoln."--container insert
